What made this Indian Wedding special? Wedding Vows at Loveland Pass at 6am in the morning! Yes - a Sikh Indian Wedding with vows! The perfect idea to make your Indian Wedding film so much more special. Wedding vows at an Indian wedding are amazing as it gives us, Indian wedding videographers, amazing content to work with! It made the Same Day Edit, that we premiered and their wedding reception, so much more enjoyable to watch as you can feel the love between the couple and get a glimpse of their love story in their vows. The wedding of Rohin & Jasmine was in Denver, Colorado where we filmed for 6 days. The first day started at 6am at Loveland Pass. We hiked and then filmed the couple exchanging their wedding vows right as the sun peak above the horizon and lit up the mountains in the backgreound into a red glow. Something that we absolutely love and recommend for all couples to do. The next few days, we filmed multiple Indian wedding events like Henna, Haldi & Jaggo. These pre-wedding events always add color and culture to the story we capture. The wedding day was emotional with many beautiful ceremonies taking place at the Colorado Singh Sabha Gurdwara. However, our favorite part was taking the couple into the Colorado Mountains for a sunset shoot. We want to give them a shoutout for taking that hike up the mountain in their wedding attire - it wasn't easy! The shots we captured there were simply next level EPIC! Take a look at them at the very end of this Same Day Edit. We showed this Same Day Edit (Indian Wedding Highlights) video at their wedding reception to all their family and friends. Hosted at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, it was the perfect reception venue to party and conclude their wedding celebrations. What we adored capturing on this wedding video, besides the gorgeous aesthetic and vibe; were their candid emotions that completed their whole story. From laughter to happy tears, from vows to wedding party into the night, as wedding cinematographers,...

Glamorous and Fun – those are two words to describe Micah and Davida’s wedding NIGHT. That’s right, we said night! The Royal Scott Wedding took place in the evening outside the Westin Hotel in Huntsville, Alabama. Full of laughter, culture, and a whole lot of sparkle, this bride and groom celebrated their union in style. Micah and Davila’s relationship, as described by them, was full of “EXTRA-ness”. What started as a playful, but determined bet bloomed into a beautiful relationship. From DM’s to dates to the actual proposal, it was clear that Micah and Davida were just the “extra” that they needed in a forever partner. The wedding planning incorporated the essence of their relationship with sparkle and glamour in every detail. The couple originally planned for a destination wedding in Georgia, changed the venue to the Ritz Carlton in New Orleans, and then finally decided to settle at the Westin Hotel in their hometown of Hunstville, Alabama. The morning of the wedding, we filmed the bride opening a sweet gift from her soon to be husband while reading a long, heartfelt note. The bride wore a custom pink gown made by Elarose Sweet Weddings before changing into her stunning and EXTRA sparkly wedding gown by the same designer. The groom, on the other hand, wore Tom Ford tuxedo with his own flare of bedazzled shoes. Classy and timeless, the designers were the perfect fit for Micah and Davida’s special night. As wedding videographers, we are always excited for new ideas, and an outdoor wedding at night was definitely new. However, with a night wedding comes many challenges – the first being lighting. It was important to get enough lights in the right positions so that every important person was well lit during the ceremony. Working closely with the wedding planner (before and during the wedding), we were able to use 3 Aputure LED lights (one of them my favorite, the Aputure 120d II) powered by huge batteries to create a perfect three point lighting setup for the ceremony. Looking at the footage, the night ceremony footage turned out AMAZING!...

There is something special about a love that is developed over time and it was evidently clear that this was the kind of love shared between Dimant and Shivani. Their youthful banter made for a refreshing and deeper emotional experience for this Indian Wedding at Auburn Hills Marriott in Michigan. Filled with dancing, toasts, and lots of tears (of joy), this Indian Wedding film will immerse you into the cultural and beautiful wedding story of Dimant and Shivani. Though this was not a destination wedding for the bride and groom, it was a destination wedding for us at Aperina Studios. As Indian Wedding Videographers, destination weddings are challenging but they are absolute favorites! We traveled with a ton of gear to capture stunning footage for this 3-day Indian wedding. Like many couples, the bride and groom experienced all of the challenges that come with a COVID wedding. Guest count was reduced, live-streaming was in full swing, and they even had video recorded toasts played at the Sangeet from those who couldn’t make it to the wedding. Despite many changes, the events during this Michigan wedding were still absolutely breathtaking! The Sangeet was filled with stunning performances by family and loved ones. What makes these performances even more meaningful is the bride’s involvement in creating the choreography for many of these Bollywood and Bhangra Fusions Dance performances. Kicking off the celebration, the dances and speeches were a great commemoration honoring Dimant and Shivani. Don't miss this amazing Sangeet Dance Performances recap from Dimant and Shivani’s Sangeet. The wedding ceremony was beautifully decorated thanks to the efforts of Utsav Planners. With an elevated white walkway surrounded by tall, gold candles, the pink backdrop and hanging florals made for the perfect backdrop for this Hindu Wedding ceremony. Though 2020 was a rough year for the wedding industry, it was the year that we invested into upgrading our HD quality to the next generation 4K. While this upgrade was faced with many challenges, including a stressful and intense post-production process, however, the clarity and crisp quality of the film makes it entirely...

If there were two words to describe this Indian Wedding, it would be emotional and breathtaking. Everything from the location, to the speeches, to the relationships brought a wave of emotions that perfectly captured the atmosphere of this destination Indian wedding in Colorado. Shot at the stunning Arrowhead Golf Course, this wedding venue served as the perfect location for two childhood friends to celebrate their union. The song “Butterfly Kisses at Night”, sung by the father of the bride, served as the inspiration for the film and really set the tone for the atmosphere of the wedding. With the help of the groom on the guitar, the father began singing the song to the bride before speaking the rest after claiming he couldn’t sing. The poetic feel of the song worked as an amazing storytelling aspect for the emotional parts of the wedding video. Aneesh and Maitri first met when they were four years old. Living across the street from each other, their families both spent lots of time together. Even distance couldn’t separate these two lovebirds as Maitri’s family moved to Chicago and Aneesh’s family moved to Oklahoma. After years of friendship, they fell in love and decided on forever together. The couple really wanted a Destination Wedding near the mountains. Traveling out of state, we were curious as to why the bride and groom would choose Denver Colorado for their destination wedding. It wasn’t until we drove to the venue that we understood. Nestled in the foothills of Colorado’s majestic Rocky Mountains, Arrowhead Golf Course made for the perfect background to host their wedding ceremony and reception. It was truly an incredible experience to film this Denver Indian Wedding in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado and we hope you enjoy this destination film celebrating the love of Aneesh and Maitri. After passionately crafting films like this, we hope this Indian wedding film immersed you into the cultural and beautiful wedding story of Aneesh & Maitri’s Destination Indian Wedding in Denver, CO. I’m confident we can capture an amazing memory of your big day for you and your...

We traveled to Seattle, WA to capture this stunning wedding of David and Raychel at the Olympic Sculpture Park. What made it even more epic was that we filmed and edited a Same Day Edit that premiered at the wedding reception. It was an amazing and stressful weekend in Seattle, but we loved the challenge and captured a memory that the couple will cherish for ever. When Raychel and David initially reached out to me, they mentioned that they wanted a Same Day Edit to play at their wedding reception. I love Same Day Edits! I understand they are quite challenging and extremely stressful, but I also know they are quite rewarding for the couple and their closest friends to watch their beautiful wedding film at the wedding reception. So of course, I agreed to this challenge. We arrived two days early to capture some Seattle scenery, time lapses and video session with the couple. Our first stop was Alki Beach. This gave us an epic view of Seattle from across the bay. We captured a few shots there, especially of the Space Needle, and headed on. The next morning, we headed to Gas Works Park with David and Raychel and spent some filming them with their dog. Since their dog, Gary, wasn’t going to make it to the wedding, I made sure that he made it into the Same Day Edit. We then drove to Pike Place Market, getting a few more shots of the couple simply being “them” around each other. Most of our second day, we spent driving around Seattle capturing time-lapses of clouds through building, the Space Needle, the Seattle Great Wheel and more city shots. At this time, I already started to get an idea how the Same Day Edit might start. So, we headed to our hotel, copied the first batch of cards, and I begin the editing process. That same evening, we headed to Olympic Sculpture Park for the rehearsal. We cleared up and planned the Same Day Edit premier with the involved wedding vendors. It was definitely something that helped to make...

Destination weddings are probably one of the most exciting tasks we take on as wedding cinematographers. We get to experience an exotic, new place, usually an island on the other side of the globe, while capturing breathlessly romantic ceremonies and epic receptions. It’s such an exciting getaway for us and the stakes are always higher to deliver our very best work. The couple who requests us to join them on their wedding weekend, expects us to create the perfect, flawless wedding film. A wedding film that captures the most sentimental and priceless moments of their big day. It’s always a thrill to see how we can stretch our creativity to ensure we capture the perfect angles and moments throughout the weekend as the couple exchanges their vows, makes their grand entrance, and dances the night away, all while surrounded by only the closest of family and friends and the bluest ocean and greenest mountains. Barron and Dana first met in 2012 and after Barron proposed, they began planning their magical wedding. They chose Saint Lucia for its warm and tropical weather and it was such a perfect touch on their big day! It was as if the clouds knew exactly how to compliment the setting and add the perfect glow, making our job almost effortless. Planning the wedding reception was like “planning the best party of our life, with everything and everyone we love” and it was evident that the guests were enjoying themselves during the party. Barron and Dana were radiating so much joy and happiness that filming their wedding was not only a blast but it was genuinely very exciting to be there in that moment with them and their loved ones. ...

We don't usually post wedding teasers on our blog, but I particularly liked this wedding teaser from Vincent & Camy's romantic Napa Wedding at V. Sattui Winery (as I think it has an interesting modern twist to it). This was a destination wedding for this beautiful couple and we were honored to be part of their grand day in Napa Valley, California. This was my first time in V. Sattui winery and I loved every aspect of it. V. Sattui is the Napa Valley’s most romantic destination, where the rolling hills, lush vineyards, and of course the award winning wine served as the perfect place for this couples dream destination wedding in Wine Country. The lower courtyard served as a flawless place for the wedding ceremony and the barrel room completed the reception perfectly. Enjoy this modern twist wedding teaser....

I was very lucky to experience a unique weekend in St. Lucia and be part of Barron and Dana's destination wedding at Royalton St. Lucia. Their wedding was amazing and simply beautiful. After filming their wedding, the couple wanted me to film something very fascinating (for me at least) the next day, a music video on a sail boat set to a new song released by John Legend - A Good Night. They wanted a video that simply shows them and their wedding guests having fun on a boat in the middle of the St. Lucia ocean and so it would look like a music video. Filming the music video was a challenge - it really was. I actually almost lost my DJI drone as the winds over the ocean were way to strong for my tiny drone (but that's another story). The little time we had to shoot during sunset and the few times we played the song, really made it hard to capture all the shots. Somehow, we pulled it off.  This is definitely something different than we usually produce, but I'm happy how this challenging music video from their party on the sail boat turned out. Enjoy this Destination Wedding Music Video!...

As wedding videographers, we are thrilled when a couple requests us to travel across the country and capture the big day of their love story. It’s always interesting to see how the town has shaped the couple, especially when the bride and groom come from different cultures. The wedding of Jason and Rupal took place in Little Rock, Arkansas and because it was a Destination Wedding for us (and many of the guests), filming their 3-day wedding was truly a memorable weekend filled with emotional, ethnic, and tender moments. Upon arriving to Little Rock the day before all the festivities began, we spent our first day visiting the historic downtown of this city. We took our drone out and filmed some awesome shots of the city, making sure to capture some patriotic symbols, as we learned the groom was in the military. We met with the bride before the first events, and let me tell you - all the folks who said how sweet she is during their speeches, were not exaggerating one bit. Rupal was so respectful and trusting. She welcomed us with a warm heart, though we never met before. Working with a couple that trusts your skills is so refreshing. It allows us to capture our footage without any reservations and the atmosphere is so pleasant to work in. Read More. ...

All around the word, brides dream about their big day and a Destination Wedding in Napa Valley is an ultimate fairytale for many couples. They envision saying "I do" on the beautiful hilltops of the world-renown wine country. For one couple, this fairytale came to life and we were honored to capture their most tender and silly moments on their wedding day. Chris and Anna traveled from Los Angeles, California for their July wedding in the Wine Country Inn & Restaurant Madrona Manor. Their family and wedding guests flew from all over the U.S. to celebrate their wedding day in a grand estate mansion surrounded by enchanted gardens nestled into a beautiful hilltop of the Napa Valley vineyards. Though I have photographed several weddings here before, Madrona Manor is still one of my favorite wedding venues to photograph for the natural and effortless beauty it offers....

Greg and Yvonne travelled from Louisiana for their Destination Wedding Elopement in Napa Valley. This amazing couple chose Domaine Chandon as their elopement location overlooking the hills of the Wine Country.  This lovely and beautiful couples met on a rainy night by accident. As Greg says in his vows "I wasn't looking for someone to mold the rest of my life, but you did. I wasn't looking for someone that could fit into my family, but you do. I wasn't looking for someone that I wanted to spend my life with, but you are that person." For Yvonne, Greg, is the love of her life and he made her believe in love again. This truly inspiring story captured in the hilltops in Napa Valley, is a tear jerker for sure. We arrived early to a mansion in Sonoma that the Bride and Groom were getting ready in. After spending some time capturing some preparation shots, we headed to Domaine Chandon to set up for the short ceremony. I flew the drone for a quick establishing shot of the rolling hills, set up audio and filmed some atmosphere shots of the venue and the ceremony. The location was amazing - 5 star. As we set up, we watched in awe as a Live Painting artist prepared her canvas for the elopement ceremony. With 6 wedding guests, Greg made his way to the front of the ceremony and Yvonne made her elegant entrance with the warm sun beaming behind her. The ceremony was quick, but I knew I had some amazing content for the elopement film. Both the officiant and the groom were mic'ed so I had clean audio from their ceremony vows and "I DOs". Right after the ceremony, the couple and their closest friends sat down to drink some wine and chat. I found an amazing opportunity to to capture some story as everyone congratulated the couples and expressed their feelings. Honestly, this was not planned but turned out to be some emotional and memorable content for the wedding elopement film....

Los Angeles is usually a vacation spot for most people in December. For us it was more than a vacation. We got to travel with our team to Huntington Beach to film and photograph a beautiful four day Pakistani wedding. Photographing such a gorgeous and fun couple definitely felt like we were on vacation rather than working. Enjoy the beautiful moments I captured....

I love filming weddings and I love it even more when we get to travel with our team to new, beautiful places and capture the love stories of different cultures and religions. Ozma & Amer had their beautiful four day Pakistani wedding in Los Angeles, CA with the final day wedding reception at the gorgeous Hyatt Hotel on Huntington Beach. Our team packed up an SUV and headed to LA to film for four days. This was definitely an epic trip for us as we got to meet many friendly Pakistani people, got to try delicious new food, and got the privilege to work with an amazing couple who not only trusted us with filming their wedding but challenged us to edit and show a film of their wedding weekend on the wedding reception. Here is what we produced....

Capturing weddings during the middle of the week usually means the wedding is going to be small, elegant, and personal. That is exactly how Adrian & Christiana's wedding was. The handsome groom flew in from London. The gorgeous bride flew in from the Caribbean. The groomsman flew in from Sweden and the bridesmaid (with her husband) from Canada for this destination wedding. There were a total of five people present at the wedding (six with the officiant). This is exactly how the bride pictured her wedding. We at Aperina Studios came with our three crew members to bring the total number of people to 9. This was the smallest wedding I think we have ever photographed or filmed but we had such an amazing time capturing the intimate wedding elopement these five best friends were having in the beautiful Madrona Manor in Healdsburg, CA. Enjoy the Next Day Edit and expand the post the view a lot more photos! Many times, I want to share my edits right away. I get so excited that I want everyone to see it hot off the press! However with this film, I held off for a few days before posting it. To me, the video felt like it was still a rough draft even though everyone in our office agreed it was perfect and ready to post. Sometimes when I create a film, I like to think of it as if I'm writing an essay. I would never turn something in, knowing that its worth a B-, but expect to get an A+. There are people that would do that, but not me. I'm a perfectionist. And when it comes to my films, they always have to be an A+. So I spent a few more days tweaking and (re)editing this film until I reached my standard of perfection. I let my wife heavily critique it and help me fix all the little thing that bothered me (and her). And after a few days of re-watching the film for what it seems like a thousand times,  I can confidently post it knowing that it's an A+. I love how amazing Sergey and Lena's short wedding film turned out! All this taught me that in order to be the best Sacramento Wedding Videography Company out there, my team and I have to consistently make these A+ films. That's a MUST in our company and we wouldn't settle for less. We traveled to Seattle, Washington to film this wedding. Sergey and Lena trusted the best Sacramento Wedding Videography company to tell their wedding story and we enjoyed doing just that. Enjoy this short wedding film of this beautiful couple.
