16 May Dima & Alina Wedding Teaser | 05.15.2011

The couple was very energetic and they didn't let the cloudy and rainy day get to them. Instead they like the idea that the pictures/video are going to be different than usual. Even though the photographer was in almost every shot we took we still managed to pull off the shots it needed to create their film. However, just to tease you a little, here is their wedding teaser! Enjoy and share!...

03 May Roman & Mariam Wedding Teaser | 04.30.2011

We recently film a simple conservative wedding and would like to post the wedding teaser from it. The brides house was packed with a bunch of people but we were able to pull of the "getting ready" shots anyways. The couple were very simple and were very comfortable around each other. Once again it proves that couples that know each other well and are not awkward around each other on their wedding day get a better video/photos at the end of the day. I won't write much. Go ahead and enjoy the wedding teaser. ...

20 Apr Roman & Irena “Cinematic” Wedding Teaser

Roman and Irena didn't see each other before the wedding so it made it very elegant and emotional in the ceremony when he saw her for the first time in her wedding dress walking slowly down the aisle. The mom wiped her tears away as she gave away her daughter to the man that will be taking care of her baby from now on. Capturing the moments was a challenge outside and I believe we did an amazing job doing just that. The wedding presented itself with it's challenges. The sun hid behind clouds constantly forcing us to adjust our camera settings. However, we managed just fine. After enjoying some delicious food at the reception, we took the bride and groom for a walk on the golf field and that paid of so well that those shots ended up to be some of my favorite from this wedding....

Go ahead and comment below with what you think about stop motion. Maybe go ahead and throw out some ideas and see them in our next teaser....

06 Apr Rainy Day: Serge & Vita Wedding Teaser

This wedding we decided to go FULL DSLR filming. No more hybrid or mixing lower sensor size cameras like our old Sony PMW-EX1r. So the morning, ceremony, and reception were all film on Canon 5D MII cameras. We still have the problem of guests thinking they are photo camera's and posing for us, but we think a big sign that says "this is a video camera, smile" will help that problem. :)...

12 Mar Opinionaided Demo: Produced by Aperina

Many of you have seen the demo that I posted couple days ago. Well the story doesn't stop there. After the leading art director at Opinionaided.com saw the demo, he gave me a nice compliment that if that was compared to an interview, I did well. Humbly, I accepted the compliment and accepted a short project to start my relationship with Opinionaided.com. The staff at the company wanted to create a short demo of their iPhone app but struggled not having the correct expertise. So they turned to me and offered me that small project explaining that this is literally a small part of what is awaiting me having a relationship with their company. I accepted and downloaded/opened up their App on my iphone to play around and learn it. Luckily, it's a very straight forward and simple app made to give opinions in real time. I gave it a try and to my surprise, I've received opinions from people almost instantly after posting a question online.Next day, Oleg (iPhone App developer) called me and said lets start working on the demo video. The connected me with Matt (Art Director) and we started discussing the idea and a bunch of details. 12 hours later they had a 5 second preview of my demo I've started working on. They loved it and that encouraged me to dedicate even more time into it. After three hard days of recording my iPhone screen via an app on my jail-broken iPhone (which you have to jailbreak if you wanna record the iPhone screen)  and drawing finger swipes in After Effects CS5, I had a pre-release version of the demo. After 13 revisions of the video we had a final Opinionaided Demo. Go ahead and view the demo below and after; dont forget to download the app via the app store. view this video on their website here: opinionaided.com/how-to/opinionaided-demo or here: [vimeo id="20942475" width="640" height="360"]  Website: opinionaided.com Twitter: twitter.com/opinionaided My Vimeo link to pre-release: http://vimeo.com/20819567...

11 Mar Demo Reel: 2009-2011 Vitaliy Lyubezhanin

End of last week I received a phone call with a big project proposal. But the project didn't fall into my hands so easy. I had to provide some of my work in a short demo clip to the art director. Honestly, I didn't have a demo clip. So next morning, after sunday service, I quickly stopped by Ugol Studios to collect some of my work. Looking through a lot of archive is not easy and picking out something for a 1.5 min demo is difficult. I didn't know what I wanted to include. I've done many short clips, projects, logo sequences, etc. But I grabbed more than I needed just in case. I quickly drove home, grabbed a plate of mashed potatoes and ran to the computer half working half eating. My demo needs to be uploaded by 7:00 pm. It's already 3:30 pm. This demo was fully done in After Effects. Nothing was taking out into Final Cut. Literally, I treated After Effects as a linear editing program. Once everything was done, I was satisfied with what I created in 3.5 hrs. Oh and the clip was online at 6:45 pm. 15 min before the requested time. ...
