My job as an Indian Wedding Photographer has taken me all over the U.S. but one of my favorite destinations so far was a beautiful Hindu Indian Destination Wedding at the Arrowhead Golf Course hidden amongst the Rocky Mountains in Denver, Colorado. The majestic red rock foothills provided a jaw-dropping background for a beautiful, intimate Hindu wedding ceremony. During these Covid times, having an outdoor ceremony is a great benefit as everyone feels safer being outdoors than indoors, especially on a fairly windy day. The enormous red rocks were a beautiful contrast to the lush green grass and the rich red colors of the Indian bride’s dress and the overall pink, red and white wedding decor. Photographing this destination wedding in such an epic location definitely gave me an opportunity to not only capture the beautiful moments happening during the ceremony but also having one of the most epic backgrounds to photograph in front of. The love and happiness for the bride and groom from all the guests present was so rewarding to capture with my camera. It was truly a delightful experience to be a part of this Indian wedding and I will definitely remember this epic destination Indian Wedding for a long time and will always be excited to travel to Denver to photograph at the Arrowhead Gold Course again. Here are some of my favorite photos from that day....

Elegant, Cultured, Timeless - those are the words we would use when describing the pictures captured on Harman and Navroops wedding day. As an Indian wedding photographer, paying attention to the little details is especially important for such a colorful and intricate culture. Featured on the Crimson Bride, each detail of the wedding was beautifully shared creating an amazing story celebrating the journey of Harman and Navroop. Harman and Navroop met each other through a set up planned by mutual friends. After meeting over a cup of coffee, they both quickly realized how perfect of a fit they were for each other and began dating. Harman, being the romantic, wrote down all of the many special moments they’ve shared in a notebook and asked Navroop to marry him. That same romance lived on as we photographed their wedding day. Leading up to the big day, Navroop thought through every detail working jointly with jewellers to customly design each jewelry piece for every outfit. Together with We Do Designs, the wedding was filled with beautiful and unique moments that was a dream for an Indian wedding photographer to capture....

I have been an Indian wedding photographer since 2014 and still the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel is one of my most favorite wedding venues to photograph in. So you can imagine my excitement when an Indian bride tells me that I get to capture her wedding photos in one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the Bay Area. When Sonia and Harman contacted me, I had a great feeling about their wedding. Not only was the couple exceptionally beautiful, they also had Amrit of Anais Events on their team to plan every detail of their wedding. Well, just as I predicted, I enjoyed photographing this beautiful Indian wedding. Beginning from the moment Sonia was getting into her red lengha to their first dance in the Grand Ballroom and even up to the final dance offs at the end of the reception. The love shared between the couple and the families was very evident and it was a pleasure capturing all of the beautiful, candid moments through my lens. Enjoy over 100 wedding photos from this beautiful Sikh Indian wedding at the Fairmont San Francisco hotel. ...

When the fruit and nut trees started blooming last spring in Yuba City, it wasn’t the only good news that the Thiara family was awaiting. One of their sons, Harmon got engaged to the beautiful Betha and they began planning their late spring Indian wedding. This gorgeous Indian couple met in high school and their love blossomed from there into an amazing relationship. Blossoms and fruit trees are very familiar to Harmon. He spends a lot of his time in the family orchards so photographing this gorgeous couple’s spring inspired engagement session in their own orchard was an awesome idea. We picked out the prime blooming period and went out to capture these amazing engagement photos. Betha couldn’t stop smiling as Harmon gave her a tour of his blossoming orchards. Their love for each other and beautiful smiles deeply enhanced the beauty of the blooming trees. The romantic scenery and gorgeous couple surely helped me produce some of my favorite engagement photos....

Every couple has a unique story of how they met and it’s so warming to see how that story has blossomed. Sahil and Natasha’s story began a few years ago, when they met in San Francisco. This city now means a lot to them so they wanted to take their wedding engagement photos along the coast in San Francisco. But because the photos turned out really cool in the end, I have a feeling that this was the first of many color smoke bomb photography sessions for me. Initially, the couple mentioned they wanted to take photos in nature and by the shoreline. When we got there, we took a few snaps but then I noticed some huge rocks in the background. In my mind, I conjured an image of how the rocks will provide the perfect contrast for the color bombs the couple brought along for some fun shots. We all went on a mini hike and once we got to the rocks, we also noticed some artistic graffiti on the rocks. Using all the props nature (and other artists) presented to us, I got right to work. This was my first shoot working with color bombs so I honestly did not know what to expect. I was worried the wind in SF wouldn’t allow us to capture much of the color bombs but coincidentally, the weather that day was very still and perfect. Also, I noticed that the color bombs created a haze in the distance and we incorporated that too into our shoot. As you can see in the final photos, the haze added a perfect touch to the romantic evening and allowed me to shoot elegant and intimate photos of these lovebirds. Enjoy this Indian Engagement Session with Color Bombs!...

San Francisco is a city full of beautiful, exotic photography spots and every time I have an engagement session planned in this city, I get very excited. One of my favorite locations on the beaches of the Pacific Ocean is Lands End which is on the northwest part of the island by Point Lobos. The sutro baths that once stood there (destroyed by a fire in 1966) are now monumental ruins perfect for a gorgeous engagement session. Raj & Simran have never been to the Lands End area and were very excited to pose in this beautiful San Francisco photography spot. Their Lands End engagement session lasted until the sun went down and we definitely used the beautiful San Francisco sunset skies to our advantage. I took out my Canon off-camera flash and created some creative lighting portraits positioning the couple on the rocks of the beach. The sky was very moody that evening because of the Napa Valley fires that were unfortunately happening not too far away. Usually, a foggy looking sunset doesn't get photographers too excited, but I used this hazy look to my advantage to create a soft, romantic look with the flash making the couple stand out a little. Here are the beautiful results from this Lands End engagement photo session....

Every couple has a place and time in their memory of how they met and what they did together for the first time together. Sunit took Priti on their first date to Scoma’s restaurant in Sausalito for a delicious dinner and their love story started from there. I’ve photographed at Sausalito before but this time it was super special as I saw the connection of this couple to many of the places we would stop and shoot at. ...

This Indian Engagement Photography session looks like it's straight out of an Indian movie. Gorgeous colors and outfits and the perfect mix of candid, posed and even glamour photos. The couple, from the Bay Area, wanted me to capture engagement photos with an unique classic Indian look. I took on that challenge and I think we pulled it off perfectly. We chose San Francisco, California for our location as it has a few of my favorite spots and also a great variety of scenery to work with. In these photos, you will see both nature and city photos. We planned for 4 different shoot ideas: a classic Indian look, a casual look with balloons, a romantic scene with props and a glamour shoot to finish off the day. I'm sure you will enjoy this Indian Engagement Session and you'll find it as the perfect inspiration for your own engagement photos....

Most people love dog photos. How about dogs in an engagement photoshoot? That’s exactly what we did when Nishi and Sukh decided to do their engagement photos in the park. After we finished the little session with the dogs, we went to Santana Row in San Jose for some night shots of just the gorgeous couple. Check out the results....

Los Angeles is usually a vacation spot for most people in December. For us it was more than a vacation. We got to travel with our team to Huntington Beach to film and photograph a beautiful four day Pakistani wedding. Photographing such a gorgeous and fun couple definitely felt like we were on vacation rather than working. Enjoy the beautiful moments I captured....

San Francisco is one of the most gorgeous cities in the world and one of my favorite places to visit. When Roop and Mandeep told me that they wanted to do their engagement photos there, I could barely hold in my excitement. On the scheduled day of the photoshoot, as I was waiting in a Starbucks with my assistant for the day Olga to meet with my new friends and clients to carpool together to San Francisco, the rare California rain clouds came out of their hiding and started pouring the much needed water that Sacramento has been praying for. We couldn't reschedule the shoot because that was the only rare free weekend for me and for the couple, so we decided to still go ahead and face the unpredictable weather of San Francisco. The drive to San Francisco was a long one and a wet one. As we were driving and listening to Indian music, I honestly was brainstorming and trying to think of places with roofs where we can hide from the rain. With all the time that was put into Roop's traditional outfit, hair and makeup, we definitely couldn't just walk out and get everything wet right away. As we parked in Golden Gate Park, we took out our umbrellas and I started shooting the gorgeous couple under the roof of the Music Concourse in San Francisco's beautiful Golden Gate Park. I started shooting playful photos to loosen them up when all of a sudden the rain calmed down and we breathed a sigh of relief. That's when we put down our umbrellas, lifted our spirits and created some amazing photos with this gorgeous couple. ...
