What made this Indian Wedding special? Wedding Vows at Loveland Pass at 6am in the morning! Yes - a Sikh Indian Wedding with vows! The perfect idea to make your Indian Wedding film so much more special. Wedding vows at an Indian wedding are amazing as it gives us, Indian wedding videographers, amazing content to work with! It made the Same Day Edit, that we premiered and their wedding reception, so much more enjoyable to watch as you can feel the love between the couple and get a glimpse of their love story in their vows. The wedding of Rohin & Jasmine was in Denver, Colorado where we filmed for 6 days. The first day started at 6am at Loveland Pass. We hiked and then filmed the couple exchanging their wedding vows right as the sun peak above the horizon and lit up the mountains in the backgreound into a red glow. Something that we absolutely love and recommend for all couples to do. The next few days, we filmed multiple Indian wedding events like Henna, Haldi & Jaggo. These pre-wedding events always add color and culture to the story we capture. The wedding day was emotional with many beautiful ceremonies taking place at the Colorado Singh Sabha Gurdwara. However, our favorite part was taking the couple into the Colorado Mountains for a sunset shoot. We want to give them a shoutout for taking that hike up the mountain in their wedding attire - it wasn't easy! The shots we captured there were simply next level EPIC! Take a look at them at the very end of this Same Day Edit. We showed this Same Day Edit (Indian Wedding Highlights) video at their wedding reception to all their family and friends. Hosted at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, it was the perfect reception venue to party and conclude their wedding celebrations. What we adored capturing on this wedding video, besides the gorgeous aesthetic and vibe; were their candid emotions that completed their whole story. From laughter to happy tears, from vows to wedding party into the night, as wedding cinematographers,...

We were truly honored to be part of Chris and Varsha's Indian Wedding in San Fransisco Fairmont and capture this beautiful wedding film. This wedding was over the course of 4 days where we captured many cultural events and their wedding story. Some of my favorite shots from this wedding are the slow motion of the haldi and the first look in the Penthouse Suite at the Fairmont. Also, I really loved the creative video shots at City View at Metreon over looking the city and the beautiful runway walk type of shots of the bride and groom at the rooftop garden at Fairmont San Francisco. But more importantly, we captured many amazing shots that will be forever remembered by them and their family. After filming this wedding, we were incredibly inspired by the union of two differently cultures and we hope you too were immersed in this multicultural luxury wedding film. Every bride and groom has their own unique love story and as top Indian wedding Videographers, it is our job to tell it in the most beautiful and timeless way possible. We at Aperina Studios are confident that we can perfectly tell your wedding story and create lasting memories for you and your family to re-live over and over again! Enjoy their Indian Wedding Film....

All because two people met at a gym- a beautiful start to Sacha and Emrin’s love story. In fact, it was at their very first interaction at the gym that Sacha knew he had just met the future Mrs. Mount. Three days of wedding festivities to celebrate the union of two different cultures, this luxury multicultural wedding incorporated a Sikh wedding and Jewish wedding, and left all the guests in absolute awe. The first day of wedding festivities kicked off with the pre-wedding ceremonies including the choora and chunni ceremony, the sangeet, and the jaggo. As wedding cinematographers, pre-wedding ceremonies are always a favorite to film because we get to capture the genuine emotion shared as both families exchange blessings and love for each other. Even more so, it was especially exciting to film the reactions of the groom’s Jewish family as they participated in the Sikh pre-wedding events. Colorful pastes, stunning jewelry, along with traditional songs and dances, the first day truly set the joyful, upbeat tone for this multicultural wedding. The second day consisted of the Sikh wedding at the stunning Deshmesh Darbar Sikh Temple in Lodi, CA. This incredible temple featured gorgeous golden details as well as stunning florals along the Gurdwara altar and even in the fountains outside of the temple! The Anand Karaj, the Sikh marriage ceremony, incorporated many of the traditional aspects of Indian weddings and the most important - the four laavaan. 4 vows between the married couple sung as hymns as the couple walk around the sacred scripture. The seriousness in the room was evidently clear as the families watched the bride and groom take these sacred steps. Upon completing the fourth round, the bride and groom were now considered man and wife- a bond meant to last forever. But for our groom, even forever is not enough! “I’ve always known, ever since I met you, I want to spend forever with you. And forever is not long enough!” -Sancha, groom. The Jewish wedding took place on the third and final day at Emrin’s father’s stunning property, Dhatt Family Estate. This...

Synergy- bringing together different cultural aspects while maintaining individuality. A beautiful word to describe the relationship shared between Urmil and Janet. A three day wedding planned over the course of two years, this bride and groom were able to have the wedding of their dreams at the stunning Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton, CA. Both Indian and Vietnamese cultures offer such incredible traditions, which makes multicultural weddings a favorite to film and edit. In addition to the many aspects involved in Indian weddings, we also get to add the more personal and emotional aspects involved from the western ceremony such as personally written vows and touching words from the officiant. Bringing both cultures together, the first day consisted of a tea ceremony followed by the henna ceremony. A customary practice in the Vietnamese culture, the tea ceremony is a tradition in which the both the bride and groom pay respect to each other’s families by giving them tea. The henna ceremony is a pre-wedding celebration in which the bride is tattooed with henna. This Indian wedding tradition left both the bride absolutely mesmerized. The Haldi ceremony took place on the following day, and rather than performing the ceremony separately as traditionally done, Urmil and Janet chose to host the ceremony together with their families. We loved filming both families embracing each other’s traditions and accepting one another as one whole family. The third and final wedding day consisted of the official wedding ceremonies. Beginning the morning with a Hindi Ceremony, this ceremony incorporated the many traditional aspects of an Indian Wedding. This was followed by a Western Ceremony, featuring full outfit changes, personalized vows, and sweet words shared amongst friends. The reception was filled with incredible florals by Vignette Floral, custom wedding decor by Lotus & Ash, and a personal favorite, an absolutely stunning custom cake by Jasmine Rae Cakes. And what is a wedding reception without dancing?! Starting from Bhangra dancing by Bhangra Empire to Lion Dancing by LionDanceME, this multicultural reception left all the guests in total awe. The reception even included a performance by...

This extraordinary and absolutely breathtaking Muslim wedding was originally planned for 2020, but because of Covid, it was spanned over the course of 2 years. Having only had the Nikah Ceremony during the previous year - a Muslim equivalent of being officially married; now it was time for the grand celebration. And let us start by saying what an iconic event it was! Mojo and Zainab had a Muslim wedding at Fairmont San Francisco that felt like the perfect romantic Bollywood movie! All the perfect emotions, all the love, dancing and support, it was truly magical! We hope you will enjoy this intimate and elegant muslim wedding at the Fairmont San Francisco. A year before their Fairmont San Francisco wedding they had a Nikah ceremony. It was hosted in the beautiful Casa Bella in Sunol, CA where we filmed so many heartwarming moments. However, what matters the most to us is capturing the story of the wedding. So, having noticed how a video of a very dear Imam was special to Mojo, we decided to include it in the wedding film. Truly happy to have been able to seamlessly achieve that (even though it was of lower quality) as it complemented their story perfectly. What completely melted us was the fact that as soon as things got uncertain and they didn’t know when they were going to celebrate their Nikah, Zainab started writing a diary about what she loved about Mojo every day, which she gave as a gift to him (so many pages were filled out in the dairy). Watching him read her diary and being brought to tears was truly a surreal and heartfelt moment. A year went by and it was time for their Muslim Wedding at Fairmont San Francisco. First, the wedding events started with a Mehndi Night at the San Ramon Marriott, filled with speeches, spectacular performances and incredible dancing. This really set the tone for their Bollywood celebration! A fun and epic night which we made sure we filmed completely - cinematically capturing everything. The smoke bombs for the groom’s entrance were the perfect...

With a Sikh wedding at the stunning San Jose Gurdwara in 2020 and a Catholic wedding at the breathtaking Hacienda’s De Las Flores wedding venue in 2021, this multicultural wedding film will immerse you in a love that will last a lifetime. Two weddings over the course of two years celebrating two cultures and one happy marriage - that is the kind of wedding celebration fitting Aman and Maica. Classy, elegant, and beautiful, both wedding celebrations were sights to see. As wedding videographers, filming multicultural weddings is a favorite because we get to capture guests from both cultures combine to celebrate one love. The traditions, decorations, and reactions are incredibly rewarding to capture so that the bride and groom can relive those fleeting moments from their wedding day. The Sikh wedding took place close to home at the stunning San Jose Gurdwara located in the evergreen hills of San Jose, California. This 40 acre property has beautiful views of the bay making for the perfect venue to celebrate a Sikh wedding. What made the wedding even more intimate was the story behind the bridal Lengha. The bride’s mother in law flew all the way to India (right before Covid hit) to get the wedding attire and jewelry for the bride which made capturing the details all the more intimate and important. All in all, it was a beautiful wedding and a great way to celebrate 2020. A year later, the bride and groom hosted their Catholic wedding at the beautiful Hacienda’s De Las Flores wedding venue in Moraga, California. This spanish-styled estate embodied garden weddings with large grassy lawns, a beautiful patio with a central fountain, and stunning landscaped gardens. The bride’s western dress from Flares Bridal perfectly fit with the theme. The morning of the wedding, we secretly filmed a message from the groom and uploaded the message to The Motion Books (a wedding video book) to gift to the bride as she got ready. Needless to say, Maica was definitely surprised and even almost cried when she opened the book at watched her handsome Groom woo her! Not...

Weddings are gorgeous celebrations of love, ever so memorable and precious, especially when they are hosted in stunning locations! When Gagan and Henna reached out to us and told us about their wedding at the Nirvana Estate, we were excited! They were very sweet and we felt they fully trusted us in capturing their Indian wedding celebrations! California has so many hidden gems when it comes to wedding venues. The Nirvana Estate (formerly Edwards Estate, or Hathaway Ranch) is a very unique wedding venue in the outskirts of Bakersfield, CA. When you enter this beautiful property, you will get a notion that you are somewhere in Napa Valley or even Tuscany. A laid-back luxury with gorgeous terrace pathways and a garden scape that fills you with bliss when celebrating at the Nirvana Estate wedding venue. It is surrounded by vineyards and gorgeous olive trees, rolling green hills, and has sunset views like no other - which for us as wedding videographers is true bliss! We got to capture their story with breathtaking scenery that completed their video. This picturesque venue was truly ideal for Gagan & Henna’s Indian wedding in Bakersfield. Their elegant and high-end 5-day celebration started with henna at the bride’s home done by Minal Beauty, followed by a beautiful Jaggo the next day filled with singing and a ton of dancing! Their Indian wedding in Bakersfield included a Maiyan ritual for both the bride and groom on the third day when they were blessed in yellow turmeric which we absolutely loved capturing for their wedding video. The wedding day, the 4th day, was all about their ceremony filled with Indian traditions. From the baraat, to the milni, to the Anand Karaj where they officially became husband and wife - we enjoyed filming every single moment. We then headed to a beautiful photoshoot at a local golf course where we were able to take some beautiful wedding portraits (and videos) of the couple. To wrap up the day, we went back to the bride’s home to capture a super emotional vidai. The family led the bride outside the doorsteps of...

A love bound by fate - such a beautiful sentiment to describe Jimmy and Irelia’s love story. Two friends who met at a milestone in their life were joined together by fate over the course of 8 years before finally realizing they wanted to spend forever with each other. Officially tying the knot at the breathtaking Chateau Carmel in Carmel Valley, California, this intimate Mexican wedding film will inspire you with culture, love, and breathtaking scenery. Jimmy and Irelia met for the first time in Vegas for their 21st birthday. Though the interaction was brief, their friendship continued through phone calls and emails for 8 years. As fate would have it, they reunited again in San Francisco during a Giants game and have been inseparable ever since. Dreaming of a destination wedding, the bride and groom originally planned to get married in Mexico, however due to Covid, they found the next best place- The Chateau Carmel. The Chateau Carmel is a breathtaking French inspired villa overlooking the entire Carmel Valley. Beautiful cypress trees line the entire drive up the villa to reveal a stunning patio area with gorgeous mountain and valley views. The ceremony decor for this Chateau wedding incorporated rich and vibrant colored florals that perfectly complemented the timeless architecture and greenery surrounding it. With stunning string lights, an outdoor pool, and a stone fireplace, this venue was the perfect place to host an intimate wedding. As wedding cinematographers, it means the world to us when the bride and groom trusts us with their special day. Not only were Jimmy and Irelia incredibly accommodating in allowing us the time to capture footage of them and of the venue, but they also trusted our guidance in recommendations for meaningful content throughout their wedding day. Noticing that the vows during the ceremony followed the traditional “I Do’s”, we recommended that the couple thank the guests for coming and also say something meaningful to each other at the end of the reception to create a deeper story for the wedding film. Heeding our recommendation, the groom delivered a beautifully, emotional speech to...

Glamorous and Fun – those are two words to describe Micah and Davida’s wedding NIGHT. That’s right, we said night! The Royal Scott Wedding took place in the evening outside the Westin Hotel in Huntsville, Alabama. Full of laughter, culture, and a whole lot of sparkle, this bride and groom celebrated their union in style. Micah and Davila’s relationship, as described by them, was full of “EXTRA-ness”. What started as a playful, but determined bet bloomed into a beautiful relationship. From DM’s to dates to the actual proposal, it was clear that Micah and Davida were just the “extra” that they needed in a forever partner. The wedding planning incorporated the essence of their relationship with sparkle and glamour in every detail. The couple originally planned for a destination wedding in Georgia, changed the venue to the Ritz Carlton in New Orleans, and then finally decided to settle at the Westin Hotel in their hometown of Hunstville, Alabama. The morning of the wedding, we filmed the bride opening a sweet gift from her soon to be husband while reading a long, heartfelt note. The bride wore a custom pink gown made by Elarose Sweet Weddings before changing into her stunning and EXTRA sparkly wedding gown by the same designer. The groom, on the other hand, wore Tom Ford tuxedo with his own flare of bedazzled shoes. Classy and timeless, the designers were the perfect fit for Micah and Davida’s special night. As wedding videographers, we are always excited for new ideas, and an outdoor wedding at night was definitely new. However, with a night wedding comes many challenges – the first being lighting. It was important to get enough lights in the right positions so that every important person was well lit during the ceremony. Working closely with the wedding planner (before and during the wedding), we were able to use 3 Aputure LED lights (one of them my favorite, the Aputure 120d II) powered by huge batteries to create a perfect three point lighting setup for the ceremony. Looking at the footage, the night ceremony footage turned out AMAZING!...

There is something special about a love that is developed over time and it was evidently clear that this was the kind of love shared between Dimant and Shivani. Their youthful banter made for a refreshing and deeper emotional experience for this Indian Wedding at Auburn Hills Marriott in Michigan. Filled with dancing, toasts, and lots of tears (of joy), this Indian Wedding film will immerse you into the cultural and beautiful wedding story of Dimant and Shivani. Though this was not a destination wedding for the bride and groom, it was a destination wedding for us at Aperina Studios. As Indian Wedding Videographers, destination weddings are challenging but they are absolute favorites! We traveled with a ton of gear to capture stunning footage for this 3-day Indian wedding. Like many couples, the bride and groom experienced all of the challenges that come with a COVID wedding. Guest count was reduced, live-streaming was in full swing, and they even had video recorded toasts played at the Sangeet from those who couldn’t make it to the wedding. Despite many changes, the events during this Michigan wedding were still absolutely breathtaking! The Sangeet was filled with stunning performances by family and loved ones. What makes these performances even more meaningful is the bride’s involvement in creating the choreography for many of these Bollywood and Bhangra Fusions Dance performances. Kicking off the celebration, the dances and speeches were a great commemoration honoring Dimant and Shivani. Don't miss this amazing Sangeet Dance Performances recap from Dimant and Shivani’s Sangeet. The wedding ceremony was beautifully decorated thanks to the efforts of Utsav Planners. With an elevated white walkway surrounded by tall, gold candles, the pink backdrop and hanging florals made for the perfect backdrop for this Hindu Wedding ceremony. Though 2020 was a rough year for the wedding industry, it was the year that we invested into upgrading our HD quality to the next generation 4K. While this upgrade was faced with many challenges, including a stressful and intense post-production process, however, the clarity and crisp quality of the film makes it entirely...

Jacqueline and Jacob dreamt about getting married at Jacqueline’s fathers’ property in Sutter, CA. The 40 acre property featured rolling hills, oak trees and a stunning view. The couple knew this would be a perfect place for their Outdoor Wedding. But there was a catch - the location needed A LOT of work to host a wedding there. The couple started planning their wedding in 2019 leaving plenty of time to work out the details for their wedding this year. That was until COVID hit and many things around the world came to a standstill. In choosing to host their wedding at the father of the bride’s backyard, Jacob began his work. Even though the world stood still, Jacob slowly continued to improve the backyard area to get it ready for the big day in October. Bringing in heavy machinery to flatten groundwork and gravel to cover the road way, Jacob worked tirelessly all the way up till the day before the wedding. As a woodworker, he even built all of the wood aspects of the wedding, including the wooden stage and their reception table. On October 10, 2020, their vision became a reality. Under a large oak tree, surrounded by their family and friends, the couple exchanged their emotional wedding vows and said “I do.” This was the part of the wedding that the bride and groom looked forward to the most and it was clear that they were 100% in this forever. You could feel the connection and love they have for each other during those vows. By the strength of their love and commitment, Jacob and Jacqueline were finally husband and wife. For the creative photoshoot, we took a trip up a bumpy road in the back of a pickup truck (holding on for our deal life) to the top of the mountain overlooking the whole valley for a gorgeous view of the sunset. The scene was breathtaking and the shots that we captured of the couple were equally as stunning. The reception was held under oak trees with hanging string lights above the guests. It was...

In the midst of a pandemic, quarantine, and even a wildfire, this bride and groom were finally able to tie the knot at a beautiful Airbnb in Grass Valley, California. Overlooking the Lake of the Pines and the Sierras, this estate was the perfect location for a private, outdoor wedding celebrating the start of a new adventure. Chemistry- the place where it all started and the catalyst for their relationship. Vlad and Natalie briefly met in church but really got to know each other when taking a Chemistry class at Sierra College. Though Vlad did not end up getting into the class, their friendship continued well throughout their college experience. They got to know each other as friends for about a year and then dated for two until he popped the question March of this year. 2020 was an interesting year for the wedding industry as well as for many engaged couples. Though the start to their forever did not go as planned due to COVID-19, their wedding day turned out even better than imagined. After two venue changes, a date change, and even the start of a wildfire, Vlad and Natalie managed to re-plan their wedding in a matter of a month. This outdoor venue actually served as a three day stay for the bride and groom, giving the bridal party and the family plenty of time to enjoy the luxuries provided by this Airbnb. With a stunning infinity pool and a beautiful view overlooking the smoky hills of the Sierras, the estate offered so much amazing scenery for the ceremony, reception, and creative shoot. If there was one word to describe this wedding, it would be emotional. Everything from the gift exchanges, to the walk down the aisle, to the vows brought tears to the eyes of everyone around. It was especially exciting capturing the reaction of the groom’s gift to the bride on the morning of the wedding. Natalie, being a huge cat lover, always told Vlad that she wanted to get a cat after they were married. Little did she know she would getting one that...

If there were two words to describe this Indian Wedding, it would be emotional and breathtaking. Everything from the location, to the speeches, to the relationships brought a wave of emotions that perfectly captured the atmosphere of this destination Indian wedding in Colorado. Shot at the stunning Arrowhead Golf Course, this wedding venue served as the perfect location for two childhood friends to celebrate their union. The song “Butterfly Kisses at Night”, sung by the father of the bride, served as the inspiration for the film and really set the tone for the atmosphere of the wedding. With the help of the groom on the guitar, the father began singing the song to the bride before speaking the rest after claiming he couldn’t sing. The poetic feel of the song worked as an amazing storytelling aspect for the emotional parts of the wedding video. Aneesh and Maitri first met when they were four years old. Living across the street from each other, their families both spent lots of time together. Even distance couldn’t separate these two lovebirds as Maitri’s family moved to Chicago and Aneesh’s family moved to Oklahoma. After years of friendship, they fell in love and decided on forever together. The couple really wanted a Destination Wedding near the mountains. Traveling out of state, we were curious as to why the bride and groom would choose Denver Colorado for their destination wedding. It wasn’t until we drove to the venue that we understood. Nestled in the foothills of Colorado’s majestic Rocky Mountains, Arrowhead Golf Course made for the perfect background to host their wedding ceremony and reception. It was truly an incredible experience to film this Denver Indian Wedding in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado and we hope you enjoy this destination film celebrating the love of Aneesh and Maitri. After passionately crafting films like this, we hope this Indian wedding film immersed you into the cultural and beautiful wedding story of Aneesh & Maitri’s Destination Indian Wedding in Denver, CO. I’m confident we can capture an amazing memory of your big day for you and your...

This Indian wedding was initially planned as a “low key, really relaxed and chill vibe” wedding. However, it grew to a grand, epic and beautiful Indian wedding that even had a giraffe in it. Amish and Megna’s extravagant wedding was at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu , CA - a spectacular 1000 acre wedding venue overlooking the San Monica mountains. We hope you enjoy this cinematic Indian wedding film of Amish and Megna. This wedding was absolutely amazing for us as wedding cinematographers to film. The rolling hills, exotic animals and vineyards at this location made this wedding venue very easy to capture in this film. More importantly, the couple, Amish and Megna, were a bliss to capture on their special day. Their first look expressed it all when the groom proclaimed “oh lord, what’s happening” as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time that day. We arrived early morning to Saddlerock Ranch to capture shots of the bride getting ready with her bridesmaids and the bridal details. It was also at this time that we had the opportunity to film some shots of this unique venue- this was the first time we ran into Stanley the Giraffe. Surprised with how close we could get to him, we even had the chance to pet him. Moving on, we continued to film the groom preparation leading up to the super emotional first look. The wedding then took a cultural shift as the baraat (groom's wedding procession) started down the road. Accompanied by a dhol drummer, the groom, along with his family and friends, made their way to the bride’s family who eagerly waited for him. After a few short prayers, blessings, and cultural ceremonies, all the guests joined together under a huge ancient oak tree for the Indian Wedding Ceremony. Hindu wedding ceremonies are intricate with many cultural rituals. This presents us with many amazing opportunities to capture stunning and emotional footage. We as wedding cinematographers want our films to capture stories from the wedding day. All the ceremonial rituals, prayers, and wedding vows served as a strong story telling aspect in this wedding...
