As an Indian wedding photographer, I get to capture so many incredible celebrations, but this one was truly unforgettable—from the stunning Mountain Winery in Saratoga to the grand reception at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco.
A Love Story That Spans Coasts
Manasi and Arjun’s journey began over a decade ago at a Make-A-Wish Foundation charity basketball game at UCSD. She was organizing the event, and he was playing. After a quick injury on the court, Manasi helped Arjun on the sidelines, and what started as a small conversation turned into something life-changing. Fast forward to today, and their wedding was the perfect reflection of their love—deep, joyful, and full of energy.
Planning a wedding while balancing intense medical training schedules (Manasi in San Diego as an aspiring Oncologist and Arjun in New York pursuing Sports Medicine) is no small feat, but these two pulled off a wedding that felt effortless and full of heart. Shooting their big day was an absolute blast!
A Festive Start at Home
The wedding festivities kicked off with a Haldi and welcome party at Manasi’s childhood home. There’s something so personal about celebrating at home, surrounded by family and friends. Laughter, music, and vibrant colors set the tone for the days ahead.

After an emotional and beautiful ceremony, the party moved to the Westin St. Francis in Union Square, San Francisco. If you’ve ever been to a wedding at this iconic venue, you know how stunning it is. The ballroom, set high above the city, created a perfect setting for an elegant and energetic celebration.
The night was filled with heartfelt speeches, incredible performances, and so much love. And as the Westin St. Francis wedding photographer for the night, I had a blast capturing every detail—from the couple’s first dance to the wild energy on the dance floor.
