About Aperina Studios

Vitaliy grew up loving cinema. His favorite toy has always been the camera. He constantly played with his father’s ancient camera and his family’s Windows 95 desktop PC. In high school, cinema and photography began to be more than a hobby and as a senior in high school, he directed, edited, and produced his first video project, earning him the nickname, “Mr. Spielberg.” Thereafter, he made his childhood dream into a reality and opened a wedding videography company with his uncle. During the next five years, he learned and mastered various techniques to improve his personal cinematography and business skills. Finally, he was ready to manage his very own company and founded Aperina Studios in Janurary 2010. He never stops learning and he currently works part-time for Ugol Studios as their lead motion graphic designer. These two experiences had taught him many professional aspects of videography. With every project, he strives to pursue a greater standard by creating an evolution in wedding art.

When not behind a computer or camera, Vitaliy may be found behind a piano or at home, spending time with his family. God recently blessed them with a healthy and beautiful son, Noah, on February 22, 2013.

Paul seeks to share captured images through the medium of film in much the same way that writers, painters, poets, and musicians seek to evoke feelings and reactions through their respective media. He has been going to school to become an architect, but later realized his passion towards photography. After constantly being praised for his work by friends and family, he has grown technically and currently deals with photography full time. As he says, he has always dreamed of being his own boss, having a job where he can have freedom to create whatever pleases his mind. Everyday, he translates his feelings into photos and has a portfolio full of inspiring ideas.

When Paul isn’t shooting pictures, you may find him at various sushi places, traveling all over the world, or just playing a game of volleyball with friends.

Boris Nikolayevich shares the same name with the first President of Russia, however his interests are diverse. He has been working with the latest technologies here at Aperina Studios since day one. Boris started his video career since way back in the past, once he was assigned as the head “video man” for a local church. Scanning through forums and posting many questions, he became a well educated camera man knowing many technical aspects that the majority may believe it may be a whole different language. Later, Boris followed his dream of working for a Christian TV station, dedicating his time as much as possible with his abilities.

Boris doesn’t just rack his brain over videography all day, though; he tears himself away enough to play with his two kids. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, a son and a daughter. He also loves to take pleasure in his wife’s amazing cooking and feeding his fat cat Pasha.

As the newest member of our team at Aperina Studios, Paul is excited to work and grow in the field of multimedia and cinematography. Paul’s creativity and a keen eye for detail make him a great addition to our team.

Paul is an outgoing guy who loves fishing, camping, and a good game of volleyball. On his iPod, you’ll find a variety of Christian music including Lecrae, Tenth Avenue North, Hillsong, Jesus Culture and David Crowder Band. He loves spending time with his family, especially his wife Ellie. They love to watch movies and go bowling together. They are excited to welcome their first baby into the world very soon.
